This episode proved to be an audience favourite as Reese and Goode learn the delicate art of the Sommelier. Watch out for the moment when Mr Reese asks his teacher what he thinks of their performance… shot in less than a day on a single camera this memorable episode showcases what can be achieved with a good story, some willing participants and a bi-lingual director who knows how to work a scene.
Now in-house the original UFC BREAKDOWN developed a connection with UFC’s existing fanbase and the talents of presenter John Gooden and the community’s long standing favourite, Dan Hardy. The show also increased it’s numbers by bringing in specialist MMA guests. All shows were linked to an upcoming UFC main event and shot in a day. Specialist lighting and Arri multi camera rigs were combined with hand held cameras to give the show its premiere look and energetic feel. But as always…
…. it was the people, personalities and presenters who connected with the audience.
Breakdown’s special ingredient was its authenticity.
Shot on both single and multi-camera, angles were always chosen to bring the audience “in close” with the action and to draw on the familiar “style” of TV sports and online programs. Giving people “more of what they loved”. Finally, at the end of each UFC show, presenters introduced special guests to breakdown the upcoming event. Shot as live the show was edited offline but it’s familiar format gave viewers a familia feeling which was honest and true which research showed was very important to reach the UFC audience.
As well as regular presenters Dan and John this show features Nick Pete from Fighters Only magazine and super fans from the world of UFC.
From Hip Hop to hit men, Blue Juice to Boris Johnson, big screen audiences demand a very different style of entertainment.
Sharing the need for captivating stories, interesting characters and award winning performances, film and series filmmaking demands a different set of skills. Managing larger crews, higher budgets and demanding schedules takes a producer or directors knowledge to the next level, especially when you’re dealing with an ambitious politician on a live campaign trail; Hollywood actors and the underwater world. Which is all good because…
Cinema and series audiences are unforgiving, you have to hook then in the first minute and keep them engaged for weeks on end.

"He's dead but he's GOOD"
Online is another world. A world without barriers. A brand new audience.
Creating a digital short form series needs an instant hook and a multitude of twists to keep audiences engaged online and on mobile. Dead Good combines a generation’s love of dance with the legendary sound Hip Hop centred around one of life’s most mis-understood central characters - The Grim Reaper. Take a look at the trailer for this new 13 part series and you'll see that the big man in the hooded cape can definitely bust a move.
Dead Good is the story of a gang of misfits. A crew looking for acceptance, the courage to follow their dreams and the winning place in the street dance championships. Based on the structure of a classic underdogs-made-good storyline the Grim Reaper is the perfect character for some fairly unusual laughs.

"Sparkling entertainment… an instant cult classic”
How do you create a cult classic?
First you need a subject which everybody loves but no one in the UK had made a film about. Then you need characters with everyday problem and relationships people can associate with. Thirdly you neeed Catherine Zeta Jones, Ewan McGregor and Sean Pertwee.
Loved by a generation Empire Magazine said Blue Juice was “sparklingly entertainment, a surefire bet to fill the nation's cushioned seatage.” A romantic comedy with a difference, a bro-mance before they were a sure fire box office success.
The story centres around JC (played by Pertwee) who’s left the big smoke for a new life chasing waves, but his long standing girlfriend Chloe (played by Zeta-Jones) is sick of his endless summer and is looking for something more permanent… what she didn’t have in mind was a stag party lead by Ewan McGregor - it’s going off!
Blue Juice’s longevity comes from it’s honest heart felt approach and a killer soundtrack thanks to the likes of Primal Scream & the late great Edwin Star.
